Passenger's Dashboard Trim Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required

KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014 *

* Available through the Acura Tool and Equipment Program, call 888-424-6857

NOTE:

Take care not to scratch the dashboard or the panels
Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components

Open the front door, pry out the bottom edge of the passenger's dashboard side panel with the appropriate trim tool to detach the clips and the hooks (A), and remove the panel (B)

Remove the passenger's side center trim (see CENTER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
Remove the passenger's dashboard trim (A)
1. -1 Pull out on the side edge of the trim by hand
2. -2 Detach the clips along the trim

Install the passenger's dashboard trim in the reverse order of removal, and note these items
- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones
- Push the clips into place securely
