Tailgate Light Test/Replacement

1. Open the tailgate.

2. Turn the tailgate light switch OFF.

3. Carefully pry the lens (A) off with a small screwdriver.









4. Remove the two screws, then remove the tailgate light (B).

5. Disconnect the 3P connector (C) from the light.

6. Check for continuity between terminals No. 2 (+) and No. 3 (-). There should be continuity. If there is no continuity, check the bulb. If the bulb is OK, replace the tailgate light assembly.

7. Install the light in the reverse order of removal.
