Rear Engine Mount Removal and Installation

Removal

1. Remove the rear engine mount stop (A), then remove the rear engine mount bolt (B).





2. Raise the vehicle on the lift.

3. Remove the rear warm up three way catalytic converter (WU-TWC) Warm Up TWC Removal/Installation.

4. Remove the power steering (P/S) line bracket (A), then remove the rear engine mount base mounting bolts (B).





5. Lift and support the engine with a jack and a wood block under the engine/transmission.

6. Remove the rear engine mount (C) with the rear engine mount base (D).

7. Remove the rear engine mount from the rear engine mount base.

Installation

1. Install the rear engine mount (A) to the rear engine mount base (B).





2. Align the rear engine mount base with its mounting holes and tighten the rear engine mount base mounting bolts (C), then install the P/S line bracket (D).

3. Remove the jack and the wood block.

4. Install the rear WU-TWC Warm Up TWC Removal/Installation.

5. Lower the vehicle on the lift.

6. Tighten the rear engine mount bolt (A), then install the rear engine mount stop (B).
