Power Tailgate Pinch Sensor Replacement

1. Open the tailgate.

2. Remove the clips, screws, bolts, and nuts from the pinch sensor (A).

NOTE: The illustration shows the left side pinch sensor; the right side is similar.





3. Disconnect the 2P connector (B) from the pinch sensor, and remove the grommet (C).

4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
