The BSI buzzer does not sound

NOTE:

- If the system malfunctions, always check for DTCs with the HDS.
- If a DTC is stored, troubleshoot the DTC first.

1. Check for DTCs with the HDS How To Troubleshoot The Blind Spot Information System (BSI).

Are any DTCs indicated?

YES -

Troubleshoot the indicated DTC(s).�

NO -

Go to step 2.

2. Do the gauge control module self-diagnostic function Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview.

Does the side beeper sound?

YES -

Replace the BSI control unit BSI Control Unit Removal/Installation.�

NO -

Replace the gauge control module Service and Repair, and recheck.�
