DTC B18A6:

Right BSI Radar Unit Temperature High

NOTE: It is usually difficult to duplicate this DTC.

1. Check for DTCs with the HDS How To Troubleshoot The Blind Spot Information System (BSI).

Is DTC B18A6 indicated?

YES -

Go to step 2.

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.�

2. Check the exhaust system and heat shields for alternations and malfunctions.

Are all parts OK?

YES -

Intermittent failure due to temporary high temperature around the BSI radar unit, the system is OK at this time. Clear the DTCs.�

NO -

Repair or replace the faulty part.�
