Dashboard Center Trim Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required

KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014 *

* Available through the Acura Tool and Equipment Program, call 888-424-6857

NOTE:

Take care not to scratch the trim or the panels
Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components

Remove the driver's center trim (A) or the passenger's center trim (B)
1. -1 Gently pull the lower portion of the trim up to detach the clips from the edge of the center console (C)
2. -2 Disconnect the engine start/stop switch connector (D) (for some models)

Install the trim in the reverse order of removal, and note these items
- Make sure the engine start/stop switch connector is plugged in properly (for some models)
- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones
- Push the clips into place securely
