Fuel Fill Door Latch/Actuator Replacement

NOTE:

- Put on gloves to protect your hands.

- Take care not to scratch the body.

1. Remove the left trunk side trim panel. Interior Trim Removal/Installation - Trunk Area

2. Remove the fuel fill door latch/actuator (A).
-1 Remove the fuel fill door latch (B) by turning it 90 ° from the body.
Disconnect the actuator connector (C).
-3 Loosen the screws, then remove the actuator by sliding it forward.






3. Install the fuel fill door latch/actuator in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- Apply multipurpose grease to the hood latch as indicated by the arrows.

- Make sure the door opens properly, and locks securely.

- Make sure the actuator connector is plugged in properly.
