Shift lever cannot be moved from P while pressing on the brake pedal

Diagnostic Procedure:

1. Accelerator pedal position sensor circuit

2. Accelerator pedal position sensor defective

3. Brake pedal position switch circuit

4. Brake pedal position switch defective

5. Shift lock solenoid defective

6. Shift lock solenoid control circuit

7. Shift lock solenoid mechanism

8. Throttle body defective

9. Transmission range switch ATPP switch stuck OFF

10. Transmission range switch ATPP switch line opened

Also check for:
