VSA DTC Troubleshooting: 27

DTC 27: Steering Angle Sensor (Hardware)

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).

2. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC 91 or 92 indicated with DTC 27 at the same time?
YES - Do the DTC 91 or 92 troubleshooting: DTC 91, VSA System DTC 92. 92

NO - Go to step 3.


3. Check the steering angle sensor installation. Service and Repair

Is the steering angle sensor installed correctly?
YES - Replace the steering angle sensor, Service and Repair then do the steering angle sensor center point writing. Testing and Inspection

NO - Reinstall the steering angle sensor correctly, Service and Repair then do the steering angle sensor center point writing. Testing and Inspection
