DTC Troubleshooting: B1785

DTC B1785: Incorrect Configuration (VEHINFO Frame)

1. Connect the HDS to the DLC.

2. Clear the DTC with the HDS.

3. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), then turn it to ON (II) and wait 6 seconds or more.

4. Check for DTC with the HDS.

Is DTC B1785 indicated?
YES - Gauge control module is faulty, replace the gauge control module.

NO - Intermittent failure. VEHINFO frame is OK at this time. Check for poor connections or loose terminals at the HandsFreeLink control unit.
