Radio Stays Powered With the Ignition Switch OFF
Radio stays powered with the ignition switch OFF1. Turn the ignition switch OFF to see if the audio unit turns OFF.
Is the audio unit OFF?
YES - Operation is normal.
NO - Go to step 2.
2. Remove the audio unit. Disconnect the audio unit connector A (20P).
3. Measure the voltage between the No. 2 terminal of the audio unit connector A (20P) and body ground as specified in the table.
Is the voltage OK as specified?
YES - Replace the audio unit.
NO - Check for short to power on YEL/RED wire.
