Removal ('06-08 models)

NOTE: Removal of the front passenger's weight sensors must be done according to Precautions and Procedures.
  1. Disconnect the negative cable from the battery, then wait for 3 minutes before starting work.
  2. Remove the front passenger's seat assembly (see FRONT SEAT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
  3. Remove the cushion cover/pad from the seat cushion frame (see SEAT CUSHION COVER ).
  4. Using the TORX T30 bit and T40 bit, remove the tamper-resistant TORX bolts (A) attaching the seat track (B) to the weight sensors (C).

  5. Disconnect the sensor connectors (D) (3P), E (2P) from the ODS unit harness, then remove the front passenger's weight sensors.
