3.2CL A/T & 3.2TL

  1. Check parking brake adjustment. See PARKING BRAKE  under ADJUSTMENTS.
  2. With parking brake adjusted correctly, park car on firm, level surface.
  3. Release parking brake pedal. Press parking brake pedal one click. Drive vehicle for 1/4 mile at about 31 MPH. Stop vehicle for 5-10 minutes to allow brake discs to cool.
  4. Repeat step  3 , 3 more times.
  5. Check parking brake adjustment. See ADJUSTMENT CHECK (EXCEPT 3.2CL M/T)  under PARKING BRAKE.
