Brake Switch Test: 3.5RL
Disconnect brake switch 4-pin connector. With brake pedal depressed, continuity should exist between brake switch terminals No. 1 and 2. See Fig 1. With brake pedal released, continuity should exist between brake switch terminals No. 3 and 4. If continuity is not as specified, adjust brake pedal height and recheck brake switch operation. See appropriate DISC & DRUM article in BRAKES. If brake pedal height is okay, replace brake switch.
