Ambient Temperature Indicator

NOTE: Ambient temperature indicator can be recalibrated to 3 degrees greater or 3 degrees less than actual outside temperature.
  1. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Depress SELECT and RESET button for 10 seconds. While holding RESET button, the display will scroll through temperature settings from 3 degrees greater to 3 degrees less than actual temperature. When desired temperature value appears on display, release RESET button and recalibrated ambient temperature will be displayed.
  2. If ambient temperature indicator is off by more than 3 degrees, turn ignition off and repeat step  1 .
  3. To recalibrate display to actual temperature, remove sensor from vehicle. With sensor removed from vehicle but still connected to harness, submerge sensor and a thermometer in a container of ice water. Repeat step  1 . Compare thermometer reading to indicator display and set accordingly.
