Removal & Installation (3.5RL)
- Remove center console front cover. Pull back carpet from both sides at front of center console. Remove climate control unit and radio unit as an assembly. Carefully disconnect clip at center air vent. It is not necessary to disconnect connectors. Remove instrument panel lower cover and driver's switch trim.
- Remove upper instrument panel screws and release clips. Pull top of instrument panel down. Pull right side of instrument panel straight out. Roll left side of instrument panel upward, while releasing skirt adhesive. See Fig 1.
- Remove instrument panel. Cover steering wheel with a protective cloth. Remove instrument cluster screws. Remove instrument cluster and disconnect connectors. If necessary, remove gauges. See Fig 2. To install, reverse removal procedure.
