DTC P1607: Pcm Internal Failure

NOTE: PCM is part of the immobilizer system. When substituting a known-good PCM, rewrite vehicle immobilizer code to replacement PCM using Honda PGM tester, or engine will not start.

Perform PCM reset procedure. See PCM RESET PROCEDURE/CLEARING CODES  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM. Turn ignition on. Wait 3 seconds. If DTC P1607 does not reset, problem is intermittent, system is okay at this time. If DTC P1607 resets, substitute a known-good PCM, then recheck. If symptom or indication goes away, replace original PCM.
