Fuel Gauge Sending Unit Test

Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Remove rear seat cushion and fuel tank access cover. Disconnect fuel gauge sending unit 3-pin connector. Relieve fuel pressure (3.2TL). Remove fuel gauge sending unit.
Using a DVOM, measure resistance between fuel gauge sending unit terminal No. 1 (Black wire) and terminal No. 2 (Yellow/Blue wire on 3.2TL; Blue/Green wire on 3.5RL). See FUEL GAUGE SENDING UNIT RESISTANCE table. If resistance is not as specified, replace fuel gauge sending unit.
