Description & Operation

WARNING: Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation. See the AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEM article in the ACCESSORIES/SAFETY EQUIPMENT section . DO NOT apply electrical power to any component on steering column without first deactivating air bag system. Air bag may deploy.

Gauges are analog type. Instrument cluster panel includes speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, and temperature gauge. Instrument cluster is equipped with indicator lights for Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS), brake system, charging system, cruise control, Daytime Running Lights (DRL), door open, high beam, low fuel, low oil pressure, low washer fluid, Maintenance Reminder (MAINT REQD) light, Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL), Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) system indicator light, seat belt reminder, trunk lid/hatch open, and turn signals. Instrument cluster also includes dash light dimmer control and integrated control unit, which control indicator lights on cluster. The MIL (also known as CHECK ENGINE light), comes on if a computerized engine control fault occurs with engine running. Integra uses a maintenance reminder light to remind the driver of routine maintenance interval.
