Removal & Installation (3.2TL & 3.5RL)

Rotate engine clockwise until No. 1 piston is at top dead center. Remove upper timing belt covers. See Fig 1. Remove timing belt from camshaft pulleys. Remove left camshaft pulley. Remove left backing cover. Remove CKP/CYP sensor. To install, reverse removal procedure. See article in ENGINES section for timing belt installation procedure. Tighten mounting bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Recheck camshaft timing and ignition timing.
