Rear Disc Brake Pads: Removal
- Raise and support rear of vehicle. Remove wheels. Remove caliper shield. Remove lock pin and clevis pin. Disconnect parking brake cable by removing cable-to-caliper clip (if necessary).
- Remove caliper mounting bolts and caliper from bracket. Remove shims, brake pads, and retainers. Measure friction pad thickness. Service limit is 0.06" (1.6 mm).
