Pedal Play & Height
- Measure pedal height from center of pedal pad to floorboard, with carpet removed. To adjust pedal height, loosen stoplight switch lock nut, and back off switch until it no longer touches brake pedal.
- Loosen power brake unit push rod lock nut, and rotate push rod to adjust pedal height. See BRAKE PEDAL HEIGHT table.
- Tighten lock nut. Adjust stoplight switch. See STOPLIGHT SWITCH . After adjustment, brake pedal free play should be 0.04-0.20" (1.0-5.0 mm).
