Lock-Up Control System

The PCM controls torque converter lock-up by delivering an output signal to lock-up control solenoid valve and A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valves "A" and "B". Lock-up control solenoid valve is activated in accordance with lock-up condition. Lock-up control mechanism works in 3rd and 4th gear in "D4" position and in 3rd gear in "D3" position. Lock-up control solenoid valve is located on converter housing. See Figure . A/T clutch pressure control solenoid valves "A" and "B" are located on transaxle housing.
