Preliminary Checks (2.5TL & 3.2TL)

  1. Ensure dome and trunk light bulbs are okay. Disable air bag system. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article in the ACCESSORIES/SAFETY EQUIPMENT section. Remove instrument cluster from instrument panel. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  2. Disconnect instrument cluster Blue 16-pin "A" and "B" connectors and Blue 13-pin "C" connector. Check for bent, corroded, loose or disconnected terminals in connectors. Repair connectors as necessary and recheck system. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
