Parking Brake Switch Test

Remove dashboard lower cover and knee bolster. Disconnect parking brake switch connector. Parking brake switch is located on top of parking brake assembly. Use DVOM to measure continuity between switch terminal and ground. With parking brake in the applied position (pedal pressed to floor), continuity should be indicated. With parking brake in the released position, continuity should not be indicated. If continuity is not as specified, replace switch.
