Calibrating (3.5RL)

  1. Turn ignition switch to ON position. Select outside air temperature mode. Depress and hold the RESET button for 10 seconds. While holding the RESET button, the display will scroll through temperature settings from 3° greater to 3° less. When the desired temperature value appears on the display, release RESET button and recalibrated outside air temperature will be displayed.
  2. To recalibrate display to actual temperature, remove sensor from vehicle. With sensor removed from vehicle but still connected to harness, submerge the sensor and a thermometer in a container of ice water. Repeat step 1) of this test. Compare thermometer reading to indicator display and set accordingly.
