Brake Indicator Light Remains On With Good Brakelight Bulbs

Check brakelight failure sensor located in left taillight assembly. See BRAKELIGHT FAILURE SENSOR TEST under COMPONENT TESTS. Check safety indicator input. See Figure . Check ground connection located in right side of trunk. Check for poor connections or open in White/Green wire between brakelight failure sensor and instrument cluster. Check for poor connections or open in Orange wire between brakelight failure sensor and right side taillight. See WIRING DIAGRAMS.
