Seat Belt Reminder

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 14 other vehicles, including the 2005 Acura NSX, 2004 Acura NSX, 2003 Acura NSX-T, 2003 Acura NSX, and 2002 Acura NSX-T. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

With the ignition switch in RUN or START, battery voltage is applied to the seat belt reminder indicator light. When the seat belt is not buckled, the seat belt beeper/timer circuit in the integrated control unit senses ground through the closed driver's seat belt switch. The control unit activates the reminder light and the beeper. The reminder light and beeper will be turned off when the seat belt is buckled or the timer circuit deactivates them.
