Removal (Integra & 1992 Vigor)

  1. Raise and support rear of vehicle. Remove wheels. Remove caliper shield. Detach parking brake cable by removing clip mounting cable to caliper (if necessary).
  2. Pull out lock pin from caliper to cable attachment. Remove pin from caliper. Detach caliper mounting bolts. Remove caliper from bracket. Remove shims, brake pads and retainers. Using a vernier caliper, measure friction pad thickness. Service limit is .060" (1.52 mm).
