Evaporative Emission Canister Replacement (Convertible)

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister/fuel tank line. Refer to Evaporative Emission Line Replacement - Canister to Tank (Coupe) (Service and Repair)Evaporative Emission Line Replacement - Canister to Tank (Convertible) (Service and Repair).
3. Slide the EVAP canister upward from the bracket.

Installation Procedure




1. Slide the NEW EVAP canister down into the bracket.
2. Install the EVAP canister/fuel tank line. Refer to Evaporative Emission Line Replacement - Canister to Tank (Coupe) (Service and Repair)Evaporative Emission Line Replacement - Canister to Tank (Convertible) (Service and Repair).
3. Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement (Service and Repair).
