Clutch Fluid Leakage Inspection





CLUTCH FLUID LEAKAGE INSPECTION [G66M-R]

CAUTION:
- Do not allow clutch fluid get on a painted surface. Clutch fluid contains properties which can dissolve the paint. If clutch fluid gets on a painted surface, wash it off with water immediately and wipe the area off completely.

1. Pump the clutch pedal a few times.

2. Inspect for the clutch fluid leakage at the points indicated in the figure.






- If there is clutch fluid leakage, repair or replace the malfunctioning location.
- If there is no response to the clutch pedal depression in Step 1 and the clutch fluid leakage cannot be verified, replace the clutch master cylinder. Service and Repair

NOTE:
- If there is clutch fluid leakage from the piston in the clutch release cylinder, there is clutch fluid in the boot.
