Remote Switch: Testing and Inspection

AUDIO CONTROL SWITCH INSPECTION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the driver-side air bag module. Driver-Side Air Bag Module Removal/Installation

3. Disconnect the audio control switch connector.

4. Verify the resistance and continuity between the audio control switch terminal c and d.






- If the resistance and continuity are not as indicated in the tables, replace the audio control switch.

5. Connect the positive battery to the audio control switch terminal F, the negative battery to the audio control switch terminal E.

6. Verify that LED illuminated.

- If there is any malfunction replace the audio control switch.
