LIFTGATE LATCH AND LOCK ACTUATOR INSPECTION

Liftgate Lock Actuator
1. Apply battery positive voltage and connect ground to the corresponding lift-gate lock actuator terminals, and inspect the Lift-gate lock actuator operation.
- If not as specified, replace the Lift-gate latch and lock actuator.






Litigate Latch switch




1. When inspecting the latch, press the latch lever using a flathead screwdriver or a similar tool.
2. Inspect for continuity between the lift-gate latch switch terminals.
- If not as specified, replace the lift-gate latch and lock actuator.
