Liftgate Outer Handle Removal/Installation

LIFTGATE OUTER HANDLE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

2. Remove the liftgate upper trim.

3. Remove the liftgate side trim.

4. Remove the liftgate lower trim.

5. Remove the rear finisher.

6. Disconnect the liftgate outer handle switch connector. (Vehicles with power liftgate system)

7. Disconnect the cable. (Vehicles without power liftgate system)

8. Remove in the order indicated in the table.










9. Install in the reverse order of removal.
