Removal and Replacement

PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) TRANSCEIVER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION









1. Remove the steering column opening cover. See - Locations.

2. Remove the 3 screws and the lower steering column shroud.

3. Remove the passive anti-theft system (PATS) transceiver.

- Disconnect the electrical connector.

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE:Replacement of the PATS transceiver does not require the PATS keys to be programmed into the instrument cluster (IC) again.
