Universal Joint: Testing and Inspection

UNIVERSAL JOINT INSPECTION

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist.
2. Rotate the propeller shaft by hand.
3. Check for:
- rough operation.
- seized universal joints.
4. Replace the universal joints if it shows signs of seizure, excessive wear, or improper seating.
