PINPOINT TEST 22: THE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER IS INOPERATIVE

Normal Operation
With the ignition switch in the START or RUN position, the instrument cluster receives voltage from the smart junction box (SJB) through circuits (Y/O), and (V/GY). With the ignition switch in the OFF position, the instrument cluster receives its keep-alive voltage from the SJB through circuit (R). The instrument cluster is grounded through circuits (B/W) and (B/Y).

Possible Causes
- Fuse(s)
- Circuit (V/GY) open
- Circuit (Y/O) open
- Circuit (B/Y) open
- Circuit (B/W) open
- Circuit (R) open
- Instrument cluster

CAUTION: Use the correct probe adaptor(s) when making measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adaptor(s) may damage the connector.
