Normal Operation
The instrument cluster receives the supplemental restraint system (SRS) status from the restraints control module (RCM) over the high speed controller area net-work (CAN) communication bus. The instrument cluster illuminates the air bag warning indicator upon receipt of a message from the RCM.

DTC U0151 -sets if a missing message from the RCM occurs and the instrument cluster defaults the air bag warning indicator on.
