Pinpoint Test 6: DTC B1485: Brake Pedal Input Circuit Battery Short

PINPOINT TEST 6: DTC B1485: BRAKE PEDAL INPUT CIRCUIT BATTERY SHORT

Normal Operation
Fused battery voltage is provided to the brake pedal position switch from smart junction box (SJB) fuse 32 (5A) along circuit (V/R). When the brake pedal is pressed, this voltage is sent to the ant-lock brake system (ABS) module along circuit (BR/G).

Possible Causes
^ SJB fuse 32 (5A)
^ Circuit open
^ Circuit shorted

Caution:
^ Use the Flex Probe Kit for all test connections to prevent damage to the wiring terminals. Do not use standard multimeter probes.
