PINPOINT TEST 9: THE SPEED CONTROL INDICATOR IS NEVER/ALWAYS ON

Normal Operation
The purpose of the cruise control indicator feature is to inform the operator to the fact that the cruise control system has been engaged and it is now controlling the speed of the vehicle. The cruise control switch controls the illumination and extinguishing of this telltale.

Possible Causes
- circuit (O/LB) open, short to ground or short to power
- cruise control module
- instrument cluster
