PINPOINT TEST 6: REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY TRANSMITTER OUT OF SYNCHRONIZATION

Step 1 - 4:

Normal operation
The remote transmitters and the SJB use a rolling code to prevent the codes from being "captured" by a code grabber. The system advances the counter in the remote transmitter and in the SJB every time a remote transmitter button is pressed.

All remote transmitters must be present to begin diagnosis of the RKE system.

Possible Causes
- SJB DTC B2425 RKE out of synchronization
- remote transmitter button pressed a substantial amount of times while outside the range of the vehicle
- remote transmitter
