Removal and Installation

1. Remove the RH lower instrument panel finish panel. For additional information, refer to Instrument Panel - Exploded View in Instrument Cluster / Carrier &/or Interior Moulding / Trim.

2. Disconnect the backup transceiver electrical connector.

3. Remove the 4 nuts and the backup transceiver.

4. NOTE: Replacement of the backup transceiver does not require the Intelligent Access (IA) keys to be programmed into the Remote Function Actuator (RFA) module again.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
