1UR-FE ENGINE MECHANICAL: REAR CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the automatic transmission assembly Removal.

2. REMOVE DRIVE PLATE AND RING GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

3. REMOVE REAR CRANKSHAFT OIL SEAL

(a) Using a knife, cut off the lip of the rear crankshaft oil seal.

(b) Using a screwdriver, pry out the rear crankshaft oil seal.

HINT
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

NOTICE:
Do not damage the surface of the rear crankshaft oil seal press fit hole or crankshaft.
