Serpentine Accessory Drive Belt - Removal

CAUTION: Do not let tensioner arm snap back to the freearm position, severe damage may occur to the tensioner.

1. Disconnect negative battery cable from battery.
2. Rotate accessory belt tensioner (6)clockwise until it contacts its stop. Remove accessory drive belt (8), then slowly rotate the accessory drive belt tensioner (6) into the freearm position.
