Power Steering Cooler - Removal

5.7L AND DIESEL





1. Drain the power steering fluid out of the reservoir.
2. Remove the hood weather-strip seal (2) at the radiator cowl.
3. Remove the 6 grille push pins (1).





4. Remove cover (2) from quick connect.
5. Install quick connect tool 8875A to remove the quick connect line (1) from the fluid cooler (3).





6. Remove the spring clamp (2) from the cooler to reservoir return hose (3).





7. Remove the two hood latch support brackets (7).
8. Remove the three mounting bolts (4) from the cooler (6).
9. Remove the fluid cooler (6) from the vehicle.
