Cellular and Navigation Antenna Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure

Note: Complete removal of the headliner is not required.

1. Lower the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (SUV) (Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (SUV))Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (SUT) (Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (SUT)).




2. Disconnect the cables from the antenna.




3. Loosen the retaining nut till the antenna assembly can be pulled from the top of the roof.

Installation Procedure




1. Place the antenna assembly on the roof opening.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).




2. Tighten the retaining nut.

Tighten the nut to 6 Nm (53 lb in).

3. Connect the antenna cables
4. Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (SUV) (Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (SUV))Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (SUT) (Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (SUT)).
