Cam Chain Case Oil Seal Installation

Special Tools Required

- Attachment, 52 x 55 mm 07746-0010400
- Driver 07749-0010000
1. Apply a light coat of new engine oil around the chain case oil seal.

2. Use the driver and the attachment to drive a new oil seal squarely into the chain case to the specified installed height.






3. Measure the distance between the chain case surface (A) and the oil seal (B).

Oil Seal Installed Height:
34.0-34.7 mm (1.34-1.37 in.)
