Propeller Shaft Removal (With VTM-4)

Propeller Shaft Removal

1. Raise and support the vehicle Service and Repair.

2. Remove the propeller shaft protector (A).






3. Make a reference mark (A) across the No. 1 propeller shaft (B) and the transfer companion flange (C).





4. Remove the flange bolts (D).

5. Remove the center support bearing mounting bolts (A).






6. Make a reference mark (A) across the No. 2 propeller shaft (B) and the rear differential companion flange (C).





7. Remove the flange bolts (D).
