Fuel Tank Support Straps

Removal and Installation

1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Jacking and Lifting Service and Repair.

2. If equipped, remove the 4 skid plate nuts and the skid plate.
- To install, tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).

3. Support the fuel tank.

4. Remove the 2 fuel tank support strap bolts and fuel tank support straps.
- To install, tighten to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).

5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
